We all know the feeling of freshly washed hair. Your locks are bouncy, voluminous, and most importantly—not greasy.

But as anyone with dry hair knows, that feeling doesn't last long. Just a day or two after washing, your hair can start to feel dry, straw-like, and yes, greasy.

But why does this happen? And more importantly, is there anything you can do to prevent it? The answer is yes!

There are a few different ways you can keep your hair hydrated without making it greasy. In this blog post, we'll share our top three favorites. Read on to learn more!

1) Use a leave-in conditioner: Leave-in conditioners are formulated to be lightweight and quickly absorbed into the hair shaft.

This means they won't weigh your hair down or make it greasy. Apply a leave-in conditioner to towel-dried hair before styling as usual.

2) Deep condition once a week: Deep conditioning treatments are great for restoring moisture to dry, damaged hair.

If you have the time, we recommend deep conditioning once a week. Simply apply the treatment to clean, wet hair and let it sit for 20-30 minutes before rinsing out.

3)Avoid heat styling: Heat styling tools like straighteners and curling irons can strip away natural moisture from the hair shaft, leaving your locks parched and frizzy.

If you can, give your hair a break from heat styling at least one day per week. Let your hair air dry or style it using gentle, heat-free methods!
